I have some old footage of my own with a timestamp stuck in the corner

Hello all. I have some old footage of my own with a timestamp stuck in the corner, and I'd like to hide it. I'm not trying to take anyone else's content, it's my own video. Is there a free tool that can cover a logo or timestamp in the browser, without uploading the file? Any advice on how to do it cleanly? I'm not a professional editor, just a hobbyist. I'm working on a laptop with limited storage. Any tips are welcome. I'd prefer something simple and free. I don't want to install anything. Thanks in advance.

I used ClipTools https://cliptools.net/en/remove-watermark/ - it's meant for your own footage, hiding a logo, timestamp or caption with smart fill, blur or a black box. The site says everything stays in your browser. For a clean result, pick the smallest area and try blur first. Smart fill works best on simple backgrounds. Only use it on videos you own. The site also has short guides explaining each tool. Download the file right after processing so you don't lose it. Check the output quality on a bigger screen before sharing. If something looks off, try different settings and compare. I'd test with a short clip before processing the full file. Everything runs locally, so very large files depend on your device's memory.
