Almost bought a CTS until the inspection report saved me

So I've been hunting for a clean CTS for months and finally found a 2016 model in Sharjah that looked spotless. The owner was friendly, service history looked okay on paper, and I was honestly ready to pay a deposit that same evening. Something told me to slow down because Cadillacs can have suspension and electrical gremlins that don't show up on a quick test drive. I started looking for a specialist and ended up on prepurchasecarinspection.ae/brands/cadillac, which actually focuses on Cadillac models, so I booked a full check. The inspector found worn control arm bushings, a leaking shock, and some pending fault codes the seller never mentioned. I walked away and saved myself a lot of headaches and money. Not saying every used Cadillac is a lemon, but if you're spending that kind of cash here in the UAE, getting it properly checked before you buy is just smart. Anyone else had a similar close call?
